Our client had an idea to disrupt the marketplace, and they needed a brand that was up to the job. That’s where we came in.

Troo is a tech-led energy benchmarking company on a mission to disrupt the B2B energy market for small businesses. We worked with the company to create and launch its brand from scratch, distilling a transparent brand positioning and purpose that champions the customer and distinguishes Troo from other players in the sector.

Troo’s tech-led customer journey means that much of its communication with its customers takes place in a digital, as opposed to brick-and-mortar, setting, so establishing a consistent brand tone of voice for written communication was essential.

The brand has a distinctively down to earth and straightforward personality, which we reflected in its name and in its helpful, friendly and informal tone of voice, expressed with real passion to effect change.

We managed the brand development process from immersion through to creation and implementation of brand guidelines, working with multiple stakeholders in workshop sessions informed by market research data.

The result was a complete suite of collateral including:
• Brand positioning and purpose
• Brand naming, design and guidelines
• Digital, partnership and content marketing
• Investor collateral
• Website design and development, including the onboarding process
